Our Mission
At Penn Accelerated Children’s Center, our core mission is to provide a well-defined program that is developmentally age-appropriate, enriching, and geared towards meeting the needs of the child, family, and community. We schedule daily learning activities for children between 18 months to 6 years of age, focusing on language, science, math, art, computers, creative thinking, and problem-solving. We aim to meet the diverse needs of all children, fostering social and emotional growth, as well as physical and mental development. Our ultimate goal is to help each child excel to their highest potential, preparing them not only academically but also for their future endeavors.
Our Core Values
We understand the importance of early childhood education and the need for quality childcare. Our goal is to ensure that children receive consistent, safe, and nurturing care. We emphasize primary care giving, small group activities, responsiveness to individual needs, and strong relationships with parents. Our goals enhance the five major areas of learning through a balance of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities. We encourage child independence and problem-solving abilities within a responsive, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Our History
At P. A. C. C., we believe that children are the leaders of tomorrow. We provide hands-on activities that encourage exploration through language, science, math, art, computers, creative thinking, and problem-solving. Our facility and families are diverse, creating a multicultural environment with books, songs, pictures, foods, arts, and clothing. We encourage self-help skills and self-worth, welcoming children with special needs and supporting their growth and learning development. We also involve parents in lesson planning, recognizing them as the child's first teacher. P. A. C. C. is dedicated to serving the child, community, and family by providing quality childcare, offering extended hours and a safe learning environment.
